Boudoir with Aurora Lust isn't about performance. It's about seeing yourself
clearly, maybe for the first time in a while. A quiet rebellion against shame...

This isn't about pleasing anyone else. It's about you. Your body, the way you actually take up space when nobody's making you smaller. I'm not here to fix you. Bodies don't need fixing.

I take this seriously. I don't just hit the shutter and call it a day. I pay attention, I listen, and I help you see what your mirror already knows on a good day. You're art. The end.

Here’s everything I’ve pointed a camera at.
Not just boudoir.

I didn't set out to do this. Back when I was deep in my horror and macabre era, shooting blood and smoke and bands who wanted their photos to hit as hard as their music, I did some nude work too. It fit the mood. Raw, a little unhinged, never about being pretty.

Then a client asked me to do a boudoir session for her fiancé as a wedding gift. I said yes and had zero idea what I was doing. I just followed my gut and the inspo photos she showed me and figured it out as we went.

She loved it. Then another client wanted the same thing. Then another. I kept saying yes, kept figuring it out, and somewhere in there boudoir stopped being a favor and became half my business. These days I shoot almost as many boudoir sessions as weddings.

I don't limit erotic photography to one kind of body or identity. Woman, man, cis, trans, nonbinary, gay, straight, bi, still figuring it out, however you identify, you're welcome here. Tell me who you are and I'll get it right. You don't have to look a certain way or know how to pose.

The more sessions I did, the more I started noticing something. I got tired of watching boudoir photographers only work with women, like everyone else doesn't deserve to feel that kind of confident. And I got tired of watching parts of the kink and intimacy community get used as cover for people who picked up a camera to get close to people, not to make art with them. I built the opposite of both, on purpose.

Your boundaries get set before we ever shoot, and they don't move unless you move them. Nothing leaves this studio without your say so, ever. You're in control the entire time, and I mean that literally.

I've spent almost 20 years behind the lens, but boudoir pulled at me differently. This isn't work I do for you, it's something we make together. Whatever you tell me in that room stays in that room.

I live in Dallas in my loft that's part maximalist's dream, part chaos, downstairs is my office and shoot space, upstairs is where I actually live. Half finished canvases lean against the walls, there's usually a candle or incense burning. I share my space with my cats, Nyx and Aeolus, and rats, Odin and Orion. Don't ask me how that works out, lol, it somehow does. On my days off you'll find me painting, three hours into Diablo, or rewatching a horror movie I've definitely already seen.

A quick thing before you go... I stand for the same things here that I stand for everywhere else in my business. Every body is welcome. Every identity is welcome. If you're not okay with that, we're not a fit, and there are plenty of other photographers out there. I don't work with people who show up racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or just generally hateful, no matter how good the check is. I mean every word of it.

This isn't just photography. This is you, unfiltered.
